CPCS is pleased to announce that Dike Ahanotu, Ph.D., has joined our Global Transport Unit as leader of the firm’s Global Transport Planning Desk. In this role, Dike will advise international and U.S. domestic transportation agencies on strategic transportation planning, policy, and operations issues.
Dike is a subject matter expert in freight planning and multimodal long-range transportation planning with more than 20 years of consulting experience providing analytical leadership, financial/economic advisory services, and strategic planning expertise to senior level executives in public and private sector transportation organizations. In addition, he has advised clients in the airline and tourism sectors. He has assisted dozens of agencies across the United States and he has also worked in Canada, Nigeria (leading Lagos’s Freight Demand Study), South Africa, and Brazil. Dike holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering specializing in Transportation from the Georgia Institute of Technology in addition to Masters and Bachelors degrees in Civil Engineering from U.C. Berkeley and MIT, respectively. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area in California.
Dike joins a dynamic and growing transportation consulting practice at CPCS. He will lead business development pursuits, manage projects, and provide expertise to projects in all markets CPCS operates with a particular focus on projects with a transport planning component.
